Audacity and Photostory 3

When importing Audacity files into Photostory, the sound file gets cut off at the end.  It is eating 5 seconds of the last part which is pretty essential.

At first we thought it was the length of the file but it seems to be irrelevant to length of the sound file.

Here's what we've tried:

  1. We've put an empty jpeg picture in to see if it would draw out the audio but it doesn't.
  2. We've put silence at the end of the audacity file and it still cuts off the end.
  3. We've even gone in and timed the file and pictures but somehow it still cuts off the end.

Is there a secret out there because we have 80 different student projects and we can't go in and time each file to the pictures?  Please help!

I have a thought.  In

I have a thought.  In photo story 3 I think there is a way to make the music not fade out.  If you can't find the option that stops the music from fading out, then what I would do is complete the photo story and export it without adding the audacity file. Import your completed project into Windows Movie Maker and import your audio in there.  If you want to use Photo Story 3 created music you can still do that before you finish your project, it will import easily into Movie Maker.  If you have other questions or I wasn't clear you can email me at hazelwood_airin@silverfalls.k12.or.us Good luck
